Communications: Messages you send through our chat system and video call metadata (duration, participants).

2. How We Use Your Information

Core Services: Enable job searching, job posting, application management, and matching between employers and candidates.
Communication: Facilitate real-time chat and video calling between users, send notifications about messages, application status, and relevant job opportunities.

3. Google Sign-In Data Usage

PHIX uses Google Sign-In to provide secure authentication. When you sign in with Google, we access:

Email Address: Used as your unique account identifier and for communication.
Profile Information: Your name and profile picture to display on your PHIX profile.
Basic Account Info: Used solely for authentication purposes.

We do NOT access: Your emails, Google Drive files, contacts, calendar, or any other Google services beyond basic profile information needed for account creation and authentication.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

4.1 With Other Users

Your public profile information (name, profile picture, work experience, skills) is visible to other users when you apply for jobs or post job listings. Employers can see applicant profiles, and job seekers can see employer company information.

4.2 Service Providers

We share limited data with trusted service providers who help us operate PHIX:

Firebase: Authentication, database, and cloud messaging services
Agora: Video calling infrastructure (video call metadata only)
Cloud Hosting: Secure data storage and app infrastructure

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PHIX, our users, or others.

4.4 Business Transfers

If PHIX is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information:

Encrypted data transmission using HTTPS/SSL

Communications data is anonymized or deleted within 30 days

Backup copies are deleted within 90 days

PHIX is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it immediately.
